Profit before Tax reflected as a percentage of sales is the bottom line financial performance indicator of every dealership.
In South Africa the Benchmark dealership delivers a PBT of 3.32%. Compare this to China (1.40%). Australia (2.30%), New Zealand (2.30%) and India (4.05%) and you could be forgiven for assuming that it’s not too bad.
