RE: Third Wave of COVID_19 in South Africa

Most of you are no doubt aware that South Africa is currently experiencing he third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic and unfortunately the current variant is highly contagious and is spreading quicker than previous variants.

We urge you to reinforce and stringently apply the various risk mitigation protocols that you have implemented in your workplace, i.e.:

• Wear a mask at all times. This includes all areas of the dealership as well as in public spaces (compulsory);
• Please continue to apply all Covid-19 mitigation protocols at your dealership to ensure the health and safety of yourself, your employees and your customers.
• Sanitise your hands and surfaces regularly;
• Ensure that you maintain social distancing at all times i.e. 1.5m to 2m apart; and
• Comply with all OHS Workplace Directives

If you believe that you have been exposed to the virus and / or have tested positive, please remember that you have a responsibility to advise your line manager who will advise you on what course of action to follow.

We all need to remain vigilant and take all necessary steps to keep ourselves, our colleagues, our customers and our families safe whilst everything is being done to reduce the current infection rate within South Africa.
