DIRECTIONS REGARDING THE SALE OF CARS AND EMERGENCY AUTOMOBILE REPAIRS DURING ALERT LEVEL 4 OF THE COVID-19 NATIONAL STATE OF DISASTER

Further to our previous communications of 06 and 10 May 2020 in the aforementioned, we are now pleased to advise that the Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, late yesterday, published the long awaited Directions regarding the sale of cars and emergency automobile repairs during Alert Level 4 of the Covid-19 National State of Disaster.

Please find herewith for ease of reference a copy of the Government Notice No. R. 524 as published in Government Gazette No. 43308 dated 12 May 2020.

It is extremely important that members study the content of the Directions in detail and should you need any clarification and / or additional information, please feel free to contact the writer accordingly.

It is also imperative that members abide by the strict operational requirements as set out in the Directions as we do not want to undo all the hard work undertaken to get the industry back to work.
